This limestone staircase and landing was done as a repair to existing stone steps and retaining wall with poor construction and improper drainage.
After removing the old stonework and resolving the drainage issue, slabs of eight inch thick limestone were used to build this impressive staircase. The aggregate base of the driveway had also been water damaged, so a portion of it was excavated and replaced with five inch thick limestone flagging. The flagstone was expanded slightly beyond the damaged area to provide an attractive entrance to the garage, as well as a beautiful accent to the existing stonework. Our extensive knowledge of local stone and access to many area quarries allowed us to find an exact color match for the existing limestone.
